Brazilian Zouk with Charles and Hara

Brazilian Zouk is a partner dance which began in Brazil during the early 1990s. It evolved from the partner dance known as Lambada. Some characteristics are overall plasticity of body and head movements, isolations, off axis turns, counterbalances, as well as the range of musical genres it is danced to. Come and build a strong foundation in your Brazilian zouk journey. Great for beginners in partner dancing or anyone new to Brazilian zouk, and
suitable for more experienced dancers who want to revisit the basics. We will focus on the basic footwork, body awareness, technique and concepts that support our dancing.
